Don't Marry Outside Your Race!

After saying the N**** Word about 11 times and many other degrading things, "Don't Marry outside your race if your that sensitive" Are the astonishing words that  radio host DR. Laura Schlessinger uttered "On-Air" to a black caller who called in for advice about her interracial marriage. The woman who called herself Jade explained to Dr Laura that she was a black female married to a white man and she was somewhat hurt by her husbands lack of effort to straighten their friends and neighbors when they made subliminal race comments, and jokes.  

Although the internet and social blogs went into overdrive after Media Matters posted the audio and story behind Dr Laura's use of the N**** word it was shocked that her comments on Marrying outside of your race received such a easy pass. I found those comments just as "racists" as the use of the N**** word. 

After listening to the entire audio commentary I realized that Dr. Laura just like many others in our country or very very confused. The entire time the caller was soliciting advice from Dr Laura, the radio host  tried to convince her that she was being "ultra sensitive"  and that it was her and not the racially demeaning remarks that was the problem.  My question to Dr Laura and to others who share her point of view is "what is your definition of racism?" It is quite obvious that this woman should be not giving advice to anyone Black-White or Brown. Her views are biased, lack credibility and are quite  "Un-AMERICAN" if you ask me. 

One thing Dr Laura did do a good job at is twisting issues on race. Saying that blacks only voted for Obama b/c he was black. Also referencing the reality that black entertainers and comedians use the N**** word, so it should be no big deal if others use it. Well, I beg to differ, the point is you can only control your thoughts and actions. If others choose to be ignorant then allow them. They probably don't know any better, but a woman who has millions of listeners, a savy education, exposure to the world and calls herself DR should. Ignorance is a contagious disease and I sincerely hope that we all take our ANTI-HATE antibiotic so this divisive flu will not continue to spread, because it is a very UNFABULOUS EPIDEMIC!

Oh I almost forgot to mention that Dr. Laura did issue an immediate apology for saying the N-word "ON-AIR".
